Just 30 kilometers from the city of Larissa, at the foothills of Mount Kissavos, lies a place where nature still whispers its quiet magic—even in winter. There, in the charming village of Metaxochori, we invite you to join us for more than just a cooking class. It’s a warm gathering, a shared experience, a celebration of good food and togetherness.

At the heart of it all is the yiam workshop—a bright, inviting kitchen with huge windows overlooking a peaceful estate of walnut trees. That’s where we’ll welcome you, tie our aprons, and cook side by side. Guiding us through it all is Avra Panousopoulou—an inventive and soulful cook, rooted in tradition but never afraid to experiment. You may already know her from the beloved yiam products.

If you are a group of 15, we’ll split into two teams and work on the same recipes. You’re welcome to get hands-on—chop, stir, knead, season—or simply observe, take notes, and soak in the aromas and techniques.

When our dishes are ready, we’ll set up a self-service buffet right in the workshop. We’ll share the meal we created, laugh over stories from the kitchen, accompanied by coffee and sweet treats made in-house.

If you prefer, we can move the celebration to the atmospheric Old Silk Gallery in the center of Agia—a beautiful space full of character, ideal for enjoying your meal and continuing the festivities in style.

The full experience lasts about 4 to 5 hours: around 2–3 hours of cooking, and another 2 hours for enjoying the food.

But this is not just a cooking class.
It’s a festive moment. A warm encounter. A chance to come together, share flavors and stories, and feel—for a little while—as if we’re gathered around one big family table.

We can’t wait to welcome you.
