Comfort food with potatoes, the ultimate meze !!!
This “meze” is of course a classic dish that many housewives prefer because it is easy, fast and terribly tasty.
Ragout potatoes with sun-dried tomatoes and sausage for the Sunday table with fresh fermented village bread, a good barrel of feta and wine to flow abundantly !!!
For 4 people
500 gr. rural-style sausage
2 kilos of potatoes
2 cloves of garlic
150 gr. olive oil
3 tbl. sp. Pesto sun-dried cherry tomatoes and oregano yiam
1 bay leaf.
Chop the onion and the garlic, cut the sausage into slices 2 cm and the potatoes at 6.
In a wide pot, sauté the onion, then the garlic and then I throw the sausage and finally the potatoes.
I add two glasses of water, the pesto and stir. Salt pepper, stir again, close the lid and leave it in moderate heat for one hour.
Mix carefully each time so that it does not get stuck and not spoil the potatoes.
Serve it with a little pesto and leaves of aromatic parsley, basil, or oregano.
